Default trying to install the switchback lights on 2007 350z

Hi! I have a 2007 350Z convertible that I am installing the switchback lights on the front. I need to know how the wiring is done to the battery, fuse box, etc... Does anyone have a diagram or pictures showing the wiring? Thanks! Karla Davis

Any information on what switchbacks you have? Any details on what items you are using would help.

When I did my DRLs, I tapped the park bulbs for white and turn bulbs for amber. Simple 3M tap connector. Out of sight and 0 problems, extra switches or fuses.

Hi Karla, I am doing DRLs on my "new"2003 350Z. Where did you buy yours from and how did the wiring work? Did it involve anything to do with the headlights? I bought a module that runs through the headlights but it requires all kinds of wiring. I want something that doesn't go through the headlights. Any advice? Thanks! Chris form Canada

No Karla here, but essentially, you tap into the green/white wire on the left headlight wiring harness for the 12v+ trigger for the left turn signal, and the purple/white wire on the right side. (I believe those colors are correct for 03, at least for USDM. If not, just trace the wire to the turn signal bulb. The black wire is probably the ground) No need to open the headlights. The power for the DRLs would be tapped into some source from the interior fuse panel that is "hot" or emits 12v+ when the car is in ACC or ON. Or you could splice into some other power wire that is only energized when it's running. No need for a module, but you can use an SPST relay and wire the following for DRLs:

87: DRLs
85: Ground
86: 12v+ ACC or ON source
30: Battery with inline fuse
