I just got a new Nismo V3 bumper as my Fiberglass JP N Type was pretty messed up after 10 years of driving with it. Anyhow, I had it on for a few days to test fit it and see how I liked it before doing anything with it as far as paint. Just the other day as I got out of the car, I saw the left driver side basically sliced off. I sat there in awe trying to figure out what the heck could have happened to cause that. I must've went over some debris on the highway or something causing it to kick up and hit the bumper is my only guess.
Anyway, my question is if there is any way to get this fixed as it is the OEM version of the bumper? I believe it's polyurethane material. It's not horrible but you know how it is. It sticks out like a sore thumb to us car guys. Thanks in advance.
Fiberglass is pretty hard, you will feel and hear when it cracks scrapes or breaks. Find it hard to believe you just got outta your car and poof it was like that. Even the fitment is fubar everywhere else on the front.
Can't believe this happened in just a few days while you test fit it. Looks like you ran over something with the LF that damaged the corner and overall alignment. Sorry to say, that bumper looks done (and not just to car guys)...
I used to do a lot of custom fiberglass work. It can be fixed, but unless you know how to work with fiberglass it would cost you more than the cost to replace the bumper.

My other bumper is fiberglass so I know the sound all too well. The fitment is fubar because I just got my front rad support done and was missing a couple bolts holding it up on the driver side. That was already like that.
You know what, I find it hard to believe as well. I don't remember getting any loud thumps or anything while driving. Like I said, I may have picked up a bit of small rocks or debris on the road, but it doesn't seem right that this would cause that type of damage. The only thing I can think of is someone vandalized it, and I was just too in a rush to leave not to see it until way later.

I know and I'm still in disbelief myself even though this happened last week. It's crazy but I didn't go over anything. I'm actually starting to think the car must've been messed with out in the lot. The alignment was just a missing bolt that I was going to get since I didn't have the right size handy at the time.
I figured since it's not fiberglass, it might be a goner but wanted to confirm before just throwing it away after using it for a few days. I may have invest in some cameras as I think someone may be vandalizing the car. I just got 2 screws in 2 different tires. That just happens to be way too coincidental.
Alignment that bad doesn't come without a good hit or bad quality.
Alignment is off due to missing screw I didn't get a chance to replace yet before this happened. That's just it. I didn't hit anything. I'm thinking someone messed with the car.
I've had a fiberglass side skirt shatter on me due to tire picking up a rock and flinging it right at the side skirt. But that was super loud and very noticeable. That day, I didn't hear anything of the like when I noticed bumper damage. And from what I understand, polyurethane is hard to break unlike fiberglass. This almost reeks of vandalism. It couldn't have been done on the road.

Well that's the thing, this bumper is not Fiberglass. My other bumper is. I'm actually in process of getting that fixed due to hitting a flattened coned in the middle of the highway. I currently have a drifter stitch on it holding it together in the meantime. This bumper was supposed to be the track bumper but was using it in the mean time until I got the other fixed. Talk about sh*tty luck with bumpers.
