My emergency flashers are not working so I began wondering if that system uses a different flasher mechanism than the turn signals, but then I cannot even find a flasher device at all. Can anybody tell me where that is located? And does anybody know if both the turn signals and the emergency/hazard lights use the same flashing device?

I believe the flasher output goes through the BCM (Body Control Module). There isn't a removable flasher relay like other vehicles.
As for the BCM location, it's next to the fuse block on the driver side in the footwell.
No wonder I couldn't locate it. That helps a great deal. Do you know if both the turn signals and emergency flashing operate from the same BCM or could they be on different circuits?
