Default 350z gauge issue auto reset

Hi guys my 350z gauge stop working as it was the fuses, but once fix the gauge won't save anything as in it auto reset after shut off. I'm really clueless to what it can be please if anyone know what's wrong tell me about it thanks.

Check the ribbon connector inside the "waterfall." It the connection isn't 100%, you get the problem you describe.

So its just the ribbon connector?

I checked and my ribbon connector has a bit of torn is that mean I have to replace the whole thing?
