Default Front bumper reflectors - need or no?

Can I just remove the orange reflectors and leave the holes open? Instead of putting clear or smoked lenses that don't light up. I think it my look ok with just nothing there? Any opinions? Do you think it will allow too much water to get in?

i saw a person with a nismo kit without anything filling the hole. in my opinion, it seemed unfinished. looked a bit sloppy.

i currently have no reflectors on, it looks ok. no huge difference in looks. although you can see the windshield washer fluid holder through the hole.

but when i get my bumper back from the body shop, the reflectors are going back on.

If it was possible I'd fill in the holes, smoothe it all out and paint it so that it looked as if they were never there. Along with the badge.

In Fla, and probably most anywhere else, they are required by law. So, if you don't mind the potential ticket...

BTW, the law here also states that DVD/Video players must be mounted behind the driver's seat (not on the seat itself, can be roof). So those in-dash DVD players are all "illegal". I guess doesn't matter unless they catch you with it on and in motion...

sorta... the one in the reflector is a dispersing lens, and not a reflector. your required to have a reflector.
