Default 08 dashboard (literally) fit an 04?

So I have the dash panels from an 08...the driver side part that the gauge cluster fits into, and the passenger side part that the passenger airbag goes through....basically the top pieces that are left and right of the waterfall...

Will they fit the 04 Z? If not, what would it take to make them fit the 04?

Thanks for the help, I'm trying to customize the interior and have the panels already tweaked a little...hoping they'll fit once I'm done with them. Trying to re-upholster the dash basically.

The only changes I'm aware of are the armrests which scratched easily. Log onto Courtesyparts.com and compare the production numbers to verify. Others may have better hands-on data. Gl!

The waterfall section is different in the updated '06-08 Z models. It would take some custom work to get the older '04-06 (early) waterfall section to fit. Much easier to just update the entire dash and retain the main gauge cluster to keep the mileage accurate.

Thanks for the replies but I think both of you guys are confused by what I'm asking...

I'm talking about the DASH BOARD...not the waterfall...(not yelling...just emphasizing)....the dash panels "to the LEFT and to the RIGHT of the waterfall...the TOP portions of the dashboard where the airbag goes through on the passenger side...and where the tri-cluster sits (speedometer, tachometer, etc)...are those dash panels from an 08 compatible with an 04?

Actually we do get it. It's just that it's a quite odd request which is why I recommended comparing part numbers. Been on here 7 years, have never seen this question. Good luck w your project!

Should fit, to my knowledge the dash structure was never changed, waterfall and arm rest did but they are interchangeable pretty easily. I have 04, 06 and 08 panels, all fit fine.
