Arrow Aftermarket headlights issue

Recently I purchased a 2004 "touring" Z, the headlight housing was pretty beat up. Since OEM headlights are ridiculously expensive, I decided to purchase after market headlights. I purchased an aftermarket headlight set specially for my year on CarID. However, the headlight's had a 6 pin connector which did not fit my Z headlight. The connector on my Z has 8 pin's. I am assuming I have "HID" headlamps since the connector is 8 pins.

I ended up purchasing "Spec-D Projector Headlights Nissan 350z [DRL HID] 06-09 models". They arrived today and have 8 pin connectors, I also purchased new ballast and igniter's as well. I would assume that this would be a plug and play set up. However, only the blinkers work. I cannot get the Day time running lights to turn on or the high/low beam bulb to work.

Are they not working simply because I purchased headlights for 06-09 models? is it possible to get these headlights to work? Could it be the high/low beam bulb? Do I need to buy HID specially for my year? I need advice please!
