Default 350z headlights

I have bought a new pair of headlights for my z, but the only problem is that the new ones are made for halegon bulbs and my factory headlights came with the hid system. is there an adapter i can to convert the headlight to hids or do i have to buy healights the can fit them and if so where do i go to fnid them, thanks i really need the help!!!

If you want new headlights go from HID to HID. Not backwards.

You could buy a aftermarket HID bulbs that fit whatever size halogen housing the base Z's use. H7? Then you could buy some D2S to aftermarket HID kit plug adapters. This would allow you to use your OEM ballasts, assuming you still have them. If you don't you could just buy a standard HID 'kit', but that would also still be a big downgrade.

I would return the halogen headlamps you bought and get proper HID headlamps. They will cost more but it is worth it to keep the OEM setup.
