Default Recaro Sportster GT

Finally got the Recaro Sportster GT seat installed (driver). I'm waiting on the planted bracket for the passenger side to come in to get that one mounted.

You can see where I modified the two tabs of the rear of the driver planted bracket to sit as flat as possible. I'm a taller driver, so wanted all the space I could get.

You will have to run a set of the Recaro sliders for these seats for mounting. I added about 2-3mm worth of washers pictured here to provide enough clearance for the tab on the bottom of the seat and the planted bracket.

Turned out AWESOME. These are the black nardo cloth seats. They're super comfortable and look great sitting in the car. The passenger seat is a Status RTX seat I had custom made, but they sit too high for me so I'll be selling them.

Saw this on reddit, and still looks great here. A considerable choice for me (especially since I can get them through my work) Excited to see more photos when the passenger seat is mounted.

They're actually black, but I guess look a little gray in certain light?

I ordered through FNG Performance, but they sourced through Bulletproof Automotive.

The Recaros are awesome. I've had a few sets but...

That Coolerworx shifter! Oh me oh my. Gonna go back and watch your vid again to give me motivation to empty my "cars bank account".

In the event you don't want to go the route he went, I can order these through my work for you (or anyone on the forum)

Love the Sportster GT… just too expensive to buy two.

I have a set of Recaro SR-7’s on order. Hoping they arrive in the next month or so.
