Default Struts for Carbon Hatches!

I have needed struts for the carbon hatch (VIS Tunnel Hatch w/ spoiler) for a while, but I could not find any and anyone that was selling struts for carbon hatches, no longer does. Soooooo...
I got the specs of the average struts. For the force, it seems the OEM strength is about 80lb and high pressure is about 120lb; leading me to go with 45lb struts.

The struts I used are HERE. Specs are ~ Extended Length: 20 inches. Compressed Length: 12.15 inches. Stroke C: 7.75 inches. Force: 45 pounds. $20 each.
I then bought a $20 Ebay strut kit just for the mounting hardware, since I could not find it separately ANYWHERE. So for $60, I got working hatch struts for my carbon hatch finally.

Hopefully, this helps someone.

If ya still need me to DM ya after Trav's below post, I can. They mount just like OEM struts. Just have to make sure the ball studs on the hatch are correct. There are different lengths/widths that will change how much movement the struts have.

Those were the first ones I looked for actually since I remembered them from yearssss ago.

Edit. More pics + original part #. I gotta switch over to stainless ball studs/sockets too now that this actually works lol. You can see how high the hatch is raised, so adjust the strut size to match your needs.
