Default nismo wing

For those of you that have the nismo wing, how much more of the view is blocked from the already small viewable space in the rearview mirror? Pics?

top of the spoiler runs right through the center of the rear window, which blocks my vision a bit, but then again, im 5'2..... might be different if youre a lot taller.

I'm 5'2" and can still see out the back fine. It comes in handy at night when trucks try to blind me with their lights--it sits exactly where their lights do, and blocks them right out.

Now that is service...what person...let alone shop/dealer would go out to their car and take a specific picture for you to make sure you will be happy with a possible purchase...not many...man you guys at Performance are nice and go that extra mile! I can't wait to get away from the crap on the honda boards and vw boards and start posting here more...just need to get my Z first. One of my cars is sold (integra)...just waiting to sell my GTI 337 and it's Z time hehehe. I can't wait to deal with you guys at Performance for toys for my Z...such nice guys!!

Ditto on XSSIVE's comment, that is the single most impressive piece of salesmanship I think I've ever seen even if you were doing it just as a board member. You have just earned your self a (future) Performance Nissan customer.

On another note, is there a place at mynismo.com or on this site or any other where you performance guys have all the big size shots of your cars? Between the two cars I have seen a plethora of cool stuff, but I have never encountered a comprehensive set of pics of both cars featuring their goodies. If anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated.

Yep, the people at Performance are like that.......always willing to go that extra mile for the customer. That's why I give them all my business.

I have the Nismo wing. I am 6'0" and my wife is 5'2". Neither of us has any trouble at all with the wing blocking our rear view. As you can see from Jason's picture, it is sort of like looking out a window with an open venecian blind. Tons of people have these and I haven't heard any visibility complaints at all.

Slightly off topic, but it took me about a week to get used to seeing my Data System spoiler out the back. It always seemed to surprise me when I was backing out of parking spots. I kept thinking I was running up on something because it was right down at the bottom of my normal vision range.

Back on topic, I sat in a guy's car here in Nashville with the Nismo spoiler (or style, can't remember if it was a real one or not). Vision isn't that bad. I'd say you'd get used to it fairly quickly.
