Is there any tape or decal or vinyl wrap i can put over the center cubby button so that paint doesn't come off when I touch it ? So far it's not horrible so don't need to repaint but wsnt to prevent it from getting any worse but still usable

 

Maybe clear fingernail polish, or some automotive clearcoat
