Default Repairing damage / scratches in the center console

I noticed the other day that there's a pretty big scratch in my center console under the cubby (05 Z Roadster). I've attached a pic. See the white marks near the bottom left of the cubby.

Does anyone know how this can be touched up? I've seen suggestions to dab it with a sharpie which I tried, I'll have to see how it looks after a bit. But is there a paint or finisher that Nissan sells? Obviously replacing the entire center console is overkill - but there must be a way to make it look less ugly.

Thanks for any hints.

Yeah, it's a dimpled surface. It actually wouldn't bother me terribly if there were no dimples in that small area. It's the discoloration that's probably more obvious.

I have similar scratches all over the center console and shift boot and A/C piece from general use. Maybe 3 years later someone has a good remedy?

Tester's Matte Black Enamel. Its a dead match, did it to mine and the color match was perfect, texture wasn't noticeable

i used duplicolor vinyl & fabric flat black. Perfect match.
It's on a thread i saw somewhere a long time ago.. anyway just take it apart and spray it. You'll never see it.

Had all my stuff hydrodipped, sorry not everything installed, yet. Just the door handles and A/C vents on the doors:

Here's the shop I'd recommend:

Unless you have someone local, and can see their work, be careful sending parts off. I'm on my second attempt, after a rather bad experience with a sponsor on this site offering this service.

Hydro dip looks great!! I want to CF wrap my door handles and door armrests. Our door panels are so "boring".

OP just remove it, sand it and paint it. Mine isnt scratched up at all and I have an '03 (knock on wood) but if it starts scratching im going to paint it gloss black.

The gloss black looks nice. Any glare issues?

Good question, I didnt even think of that. I wonder how matte black would look as well.

Do a little research I the removal, I know when I did it I found it on here. Pull up and back on the shifter surround (remove shift **** first) then remove your cubby rubber mat.... Then just start taking out screws. Remember where they go that's all I did. The ones holding the radio bracket to the car are the hardest to get to....

Sand down and paint... That's what I did couldn't be happier, no glare issues either btw.

How does that door come off? more importantly, how do you put it back on with the springs? What year door is that? I'm dealing with an '08. I want to take off the door and leather wrap it.
