Wink Mounted my Antenna on the roof(PICS)

I've always liked the look of the antenna mounted on the roof. Looks much sleaker. Reception was okay, am reception was non existent. To boost reception, I added an additional antenna mounted on the inside of the windshield, just behind the rear view mirror, not even noticable really. Reception is excellent now . BTW, got my windows tinted 15% as well God I Love digital cammeras .

tell ya what, ditch the roof antenna and the quarter panel antenna.

lets see more of this interior bit .

does it have to be up there, or could it be mounted in the back? beside the 3rd brake light perhaps.

Yes, it can be mounted in the back as well. I opted for the front.

whatd you do with the stock mount? get it filled and painted or just unscrew it and leave the small mount.

i like antenna-less(interior), reduces just very small drag efficiency. not that much but i think that antenna-less looks better. is that your house/company/w/e???

Bat:

Did you hook up the new antenna to the old booster that's located behind the left side interior trunk covers? That might have created your reception problem.

Just something to double-check. Might save some $$$ to others that want to do this, if it works.

Nah, I basically disconnected the antenna from the stereo itself and ran the new cable through there.
