i had my first set of 19s done, and they turned out real nice.

they were originally silver, but i powdercoated them gunmetal.
rays powder coats their rims, they have their own process which includes a clear coat. so yes, they would have a professional appearance if the shop is reputable.
check out the top secret 350Z. its white with gold LE37s. one of the finest looking color, rim combos Ive ever seen I think.
bens Z Im not sure what you were asking, but Im not familiar with overlays if thats what your asking about, Id PM bluebatmobile for those questions, hes the overlay guru.

I had my Overlays on my Celi for a few years, had no problems removing them, any residue left was cleaned with a gumout remover.
Do your whels in a glossy finish. Matte finish makes the wheel look like stock steelies imo

i'm from san francisco. rims were done in san jose. contact jason at performance nissan, i think he's got a hookup for powdercoating in socal.
btw, pls do not powdercoat ur rims white. i'd suggest gunmetal or a hyperblack finish. a member by the name of longbowe has a set of oem 18s (not track wheels) that he powdercoated on his ppw. they look nice in the pics and even better when i saw it in person. can't find the pics for some reason, but you can try a
search for it.
edit:
heres a link to pics of longbowes rims:

IN MY OPINION, i do not like gold rims. i think gold rims belong on wrxs/stis and evos only. i know that there are numerous members here with gold or bronze rims, and hey its their car, so its all good. whatever makes u happy, ya know? but i personally am not a big fan of gold rims.
** not intended to insult or offend anyone who may have or want gold rims. just stating my personal opinion. no flames pls.
