I remember a while back seeing a picture that someone took of their Nismo equiped PPW being signed by Mr. K and was wondering who does the painting for the covers. Are people doing it themselves or are they having them professionally done?
Here is the THREAD I posted (almost exactly one year ago) about prep-ing for the paint job. Looking back at these pictures it's amazing how different my engine bay looks from then to now. I have swapped the Injen CAI for a NISMO one. Have changed the stainless insert for a CF one. SAMCO Sport hoses (red of course).
I'll try to get a new picture of it up soon.
Do the prep work yourself and the paint job cost me $150.00

Hey Kitkos. Thanks for chiming in. When I first saw your engine bay I fell in love with it. I have yet to see one that turns my crank as much. And getting it signed by Mr. K!!! You must have been on cloud 9! I've pruchased my red Ingen CAI and I also purchased a red Z-xtreme grounding kit. So the next thing I woudl like to do is pain the covers and then finally look at getting some red hoses like yours. I think it looks so clean and not too in your face.

no problem at all. With all the nastiness going around in the world, it's always nice to hear a well deserved compliment now and again. Where did the red hoses come from? Were they expensive?
