Default Custom Rear Strut Cargo Divider-56k no no

The Nissan cargo divider appears to have no release date. That coupled with the fact that it will probably cost $100 for a couple of pieces of foam, I decided to make my own divider. I wanted the divider to be light weight, match the interior, keep the cargo hook points, and be easy to install and remove. I think succeeded on all accounts.

Bungie cords secure the divider. I am still thinking of getting a "Z" embroidered on the carpet.

What do you think?

I'm not sure I understand. Why did you make this instead of using the cargo divider net?

I'm sure it'll do the job but personally I don't like the look of the hooks.

I didn't want to look at the stuff sliding around in the rear. This blocks off the rear part of the car and creates a small shelf in front to put things within arms reach behind the seats.

Could have used d-rings or something but the hooks are easy and fast.

Very nice looking cargo-divider!
With some aluminium bolt caps you could make the bolts more into "design-elements"
There are bolt caps(small) to fit exactly over the existing bolts and there are even bigger caps(as for closing a antenna-hole)which with a little modification or melt-glue would beautify the look overall when you look in your rear view mirror.

Default Here are mine.

I thought the same, but took a different approach. Mine is fitted from the back so will basically stay in place on its own. It also has a couple of Velcro tabs which go through the loops under the strut brace. Doesn't meet your requirement for keeping the loops under the strut brace in use, but as you can see, you can still use a net and I don't see what you'd need the other loops for one this is in place.

Apsilon - this is important at least in the UK because otherwise people can see what's in your trunk and smash the rear glass to steal it. This has already happened to at least one person over here Also cuts road noise a touch.

I did two versions. Here's the first:

is this the proposed OEM version, or is this your custom one? Either way that is cool!

In the UK, Nissan are saying July for the OEM one and no price quoted yet.

These are both my custom efforts. I made the first one and then a few owners said they wanted one, so I managed to get a company who make stealthboxes and the like to make some up for me. CNC machined and then hand-trimmed.

The second one is one I'm working on because I wanted a logo. The logo is laser etched into perspex.

Thanks for comments.
