when you installed your new hood, did you transfer the weather strip over from your stock hood? the one in the front, by the latch. im thinking about just getting a new one from the dealer, but im not sure if i can put it on a c/f hood??? do you think 3m tape will do???

 

hrmm.. i dont have any stripping on my hood cf hood...

never thought about that...

will look into putting one on... ill see if i have the part in stock...

if not it will take a couple of days

 

i seem to remember someone commenting on it stopping wind from lifting up on the hood while driving? but i cant find it again? it would also prevent the hood from vibrating against the car i would think. (messing up the hood!) how much is another seal jason? i dont have my hood here yet. (this week some time?) so i cant realy say if i NEED it. im going to use sparco hood pins, but im thinking it couldnt hurt. let me know on the pricing when you get a chance.
