Default Interior Switches???

I am looking at getting a Z pretty soon and have a couple questions about some of the switches in the interior. Between the seats there are 2 switches for the seat heaters and a cover where a 3rd switch would be. What switch would go here?

could only guess the 2 heater switches would be shifted over for RHD cars.

begs the question why not center 2 switches, I dont know.

its not the convertable as that is what goes next to the TCS/VDC switch.

is that where the switch for the sunroof goes on the G35?

my maxima's have all the options you can get, and there are still a couple of blanks for other things.

my mr2's had it too. but it was nice to have those for things like foglights, two step, fan switches, Nitrous (which i never had), and various other things. and yea, ares is right, they use a lot of the same parts for the RHD cars an dmove them around. Also, in other countries they might have other options that would go in that spot

G35 uses a different center panel, so I dont think that would matter.

but yeah perhaps europe gets something, I know they have cameras and stuff in japan, that could be involved in that, or whatever else.

or perhaps they were just planning ahead for possible future options, get a 30,000$ mold made for a injected part like that, you wanna leave yourself some growing room I suppose.

In any car, they usually leave a few blanks for the owner to use. For example, you can put your aftermarket alarm led there. In my car, I put the nav-tv switch in the blank right next to my seat heater switches.

i think that is for emergeny eject button.
in case your car is falling into water or falling down from sky.
you hit that button and it will make your seat fly to the sky and will open parachute.

right?

Default Exactly what I was thinking of.

Actually I need to install two switches and yours look good.

I am going to setup one to toggle the NAV so that I can input information while on the move and then the second one will be for switching the clearcorner LEDS, that I am going to get from you, from parking lights to turnsignals.

If you don't mind what do your switches control?

in car PC. one powers on the inverter, the other is a momentary switch to turn on the PC.

Default buttons

a better place for buttons.......concealed when closed.

five momentary buttons/latching relays.
foglights, floor lights, G-timer info, navi and special horns.

sorry for bad pic.

maybe the blank spot is where the switch would be to control the folding side mirrors for the japan z's.

nice idea for the buttons big-al!

the get out of te car, fold in their mirrors, and push their cars into the parking spots. Hey, no door dings.

I was thinking about putting a switch next to the VCD OFF, but the function of the switch for now is to toggle the NAV so I can input info while I am moving and it would be easier to have the switch on the right side so I could do it all with just my right hand.

However, I am going to need a switch for some functoinality with the light s that would becaonvenient to put on the left.

Does anyone know where I might get a nissan switch that would match at least the size and shape of the VCD OFF button.

thanks for the help
