Hi! Before I install my hid's, I was told to make sure that there are no residues or oils from fingers on them. Has anyone heard of using denatured alcohol to wipe the buld down?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I would only wipe them down if you have already touched them. If so, denatured alcohol works for that. If you haven't touched the bulb part, I wouldn't put anything on it.
