The Home Depot Toilet Washer is the proper finisher. Works like a charm

The washer from Home Depot belongs out of sight below the sink, like it was meant to. I picked one of these up and it looks like complete crap. I'm not sure how you guys can stand to look/touch it when you drive your car.

That said, I used mine below the shift boot and it pushes it up perfectly.

LOL...I tried it too. Its in a box of junk now but at some point I might try putting it under the boot as you did.

The boot sits lower than the ****, so some people are using this piece to fill the gap. However, its very ugly and cheap looking. Stick in underneath the boot and it does a pretty good job of pushing it up.
