You need to see it before you judge it. When my CF guy (this guy lays down CF as a living) saw my "posuer" carbon fiber pieces he said

"Im not happy with those pieces because the weave are too small, nevertheless they did a good job laying the CF down. Its good enough."

I said it should be coz its paint. He had to look at it twice and he couldnt believe he missed it.

NOPE! You're wrong Its paint... next time do your research first. I should know I have a third of my car covered by them (Suite E grafX) another third by CF overlay and the final third with real CF. Try clicking on the 1st link on my Sig.

Honestly You cant distinguish overlay CF with the pieces these guys make. Good Stuff!

ben- how much did your system install (only) cost? I've always meant to ask, but now that I'm installing my system within the month, I'm a little bit more compelled to finally ask

its not a matter of fooling anyone, I bought this car for ME!!! and if I know it is fake, I am NOT happy, that is the bottom line. I look at it and know inside that it is painted and I just bought a piece of plastic that is painted for $220. I know too much about CF and composites to do this purchase.

We are not about 'fooling your friends'. Our product has a good track record. There is probably as much labor in producing these pieces as there is in using real CF. We don't run down to Pep Boys for a can of Krylon and pump these things out to an unsuspecting public. Several Z owners have been to our shop and saw first hand that it is labor intensive. Painting plastics so they last for years is harder than painting metals I can assure you. And for certain parts real CF is not a viable course. The dash panels for instance have too many attachment posts and other engineering hurdles for most companies to tackle. Maybe someone will someday but most have just walked away after looking into it. Also we can do a wider variety of patterns and looks than can be offered by real CF or other technical fibers. And we work with real CF here too. Just not on certain parts.

My friend does audio work for a living so he did me a favor. He just asked for 2 Sparco Milano Seats. I know its an unsual trade but hey thats what he wanted. I'm guessing normally it should be a little more than that considering at one point the car was entirely stripped down to metal.

Extremely happy with my Suite E GraphX dash here in Boston.... Plus I work with CF every day... I love the look of it.... and I looked into doing it myself to my dash.
But there is almost no way for me to do it as well as Suite E GraphX did... So I let them do it for me and couln't be happier!!
