Default goodbye subaru and welcome Z

Well just wanted to say watsup guys been on for a while but havent introduced myself, im going to be buying a nissan 350z b/c i have had a really bad experience with my wrx and subaru warranties and from what ive seen the n350z's are amazing and they actually keep warranty, heres a pic of my wrx b4 its stripped next week and gets traded in to the dealer, one question if anyone has had a wrx previously and got a Z did you think it was worth it?

its a wrx everyone thinks its an sti i had full coilover suspension, and tracked it and stuff, but i love the 2 door and 2 seater factor and the car is no were near as fast as my car was but its good to have power on demand(no turbo lag). the Z is a beautiful car and i 98% sure i want this car, if anyone has ever tracked your Z like bone stock, plz tell me how it performed i would really like to know thanx

whoah....that's one of the nicest looking WRX I've seen. The headlight unit looks incredible. It must be hard giving up something you've modified so extensively, and it doesn't look like you spared any expenses either. Why couldn't the Sti look like that?

Either way, welcome to the Z community!

Bone stock.. 1/4 mile 14.1 was the best time I could do...but it was a toss from 14.3 to 14.6 after many runs. I'm not that good at the track yet.

That's a nice looking WRX. I've always liked the older version appearance-wise. And good luck on your Z purchase.

On the oval track the car is one of the best handling cars in the world... M3 level and higher.

Default Welcome ... WRXer.

Tell us your impressions of the 350Z , and if WRX had similar or different style.

Cheers Amy -

Look at my Sig link... Bottom is my Grand Daughters BF's WRX..

This was about a year ago.. WRX now has Borla and other trick stuff.

thanx for the welcome you guys are all pretty cool on this forum, and i saw that wrx, that brings back memorys when i first got mine but mine went with a complete transformation, and i believe that this car probs does handle with the m3 and stuff, not an m3 fan but when ive seen this car on the track its been with a really bad driver so thats why i ask if its good, the guy never pushed the car at all and everyone was passing him but ive seen the test and i hate the m3 anyways lol

warranties are gonna suck no matter what car you have... it's gonna get even worse when you modify something... it really depends on the dealer on not the company as a whole... but yea i'd take a Z over a WRX, and STi, RWD is a lot of fun! a lot of people track their bone stock Z's, good luck

Welcome to the boards. That's one of the best looking WRXs I've seen (better looking than the STi), but it sucks that they didn't fix it even though you had a warranty.

The Z is just an elegant car, which is something the WRX will never have. Sure the WRX can look sporty, aggressive etc...but after a while it's just another pocket rocket. I just want to warn you though, that Nissan warranty service SUCKS as well. :-)

happy motoring.

thanx again well i looked on the forums and basically everyone has been covered for tranny problems on their cars, subaru denys everything and things they dont have a problem or chooses to ignore it and not admit to it, plus driving the 350z is awesome feels good to be a real sports car and know that your drving a bad **** car, only thing is its kind of loud on the inside but i can live with that
