Question Bicycle rack trunk attachment for 350Z?

Anyone know of a decent bicycle rack trunk attachment for the 350Z? One which minimizes the chance of getting my car scratched.

From what I've heard there are none available at this time.

would it be possible to attach a bike rack to the hatch on the top and bottom of it so the bike would lay angled with the hatch? i was wondering about this also. i figure if i take off the peddles and the front tire i wouldn't have to worry about any part of the bike scratching the car.

think this would work?

There is a company called Graber that sells racks under the name Saris. On their website they have a fit guide which claims they have a roof rack for the 350z. I looked into this a while ago and was skeptical that their rack would actually fit so I called them. They told me that they test all of thier racks on the vehicle and told me that it would work with the Z. You might check into them.

It's a trunk mounted bike rack. I saw one on an Audi TT and it looked like it worked okay on that car. It held the bike far enough away from the car and high enough that the rear bumper and the low road clearance wasn't a problem.

I use a slightly modified delta hunch rack on the back of my Z....works great. You can get in touch with this woman at delta and she has all the info on modifying the rack....its real easy.

I wasn't sure if you were talking about a roof rack or a hatch rack. They have both, but they don't have pictures of the roof rack. I think either would work fine.

I would actually perfer the roof rack. I know, I know, it is a sports car and it wasn't meant to carry cargo... I just feel like the bike is more secure on the roof than it is on the hatch. Just my preference.
