Default Plastic Piece?

Anyone know what the plastic clear piece next to the rear wheels are for? Its kind of annoying and I want to remove it.

Are you meaning the clear protector on the side skirt?
If so than its to protect the paint from road grime (dirt, rocks, grease, etc..)

I think he's talking about the 3M like clear strips right by the wheel well. If you are talking about these strips, they are there to protect the paint from pebbles, rocks, etc... If im not mistaken, they can be removed, but as long as you keep the edges clean, you can barely notice them and they do serve an important purpose, so why not just keep them on?

Yeah maybe I though it was some sticker the dealer forgot to take off or something. Guess it will be staying on.

it's just like a clear bra. You want to leave that.

if you dont have a clear bra I suggest you get one on your bumper or your gonna have the sandblasted look on your Z.
