Default What do you think about covering up scratch with Nismo Emblem?

My Z got key'ed 2 weeks ago on the door panel. I spend the last 2 weeks laying down touch up paint and clear coat. While the surface is smooth now after some elbow grease, the 5 inch scratch is still noticible due to color differences. [i have a chrome silver :-( ]

What do you guys think about slapping a nismo emblem to that area? too rice?

this photo is before my Z got key'ed, but the area of scratch is covered in blue (and it is just a hairline key scratch)

seems like it would be a bit too low for those emblems to be. good idea though. sorry to hear about the scratch.

Please don't do that. I don't think it'll cost that much to have that rapaired. You might even be able to have it buffed out.

No way. My car got keyed, too, and you saw my results. It didn't look that good on camera because I was close and level with the scratch. Your key mark is also below the body crease in the door so I don't think it would look that bad.

Just get some touch up paint and dab on the paint little by little like connecting dots. You'll see a line, but it'll be the same color as the car so people will think you have string on it or something and not a white key mark.

dont do it, its not worth it. most people wont notice the scratch, but the logo will stand out like a sore thumb.

Thanks for the feed back.

BTW, i used Langka which did what it is suppose to do. if my Z was a non metallic color, it would have been perfect.
