i had the angled injen exhaust with wings west kit, the kit melted due to the high heat that came from the exhaust when the silencers were not in, my bigest mistake was the injen exhaust.

my stock bumper is a little melted. dont see the big deal.

may want to line the inside with metal tape though, it reflects the heat a good bit, the bumper has in in stock form, but the muffler is in a different place.

i have it ...and i have the esprit rear piece and it wraps around the exhaust tips....nothing happened yet but the worst that will happen is the paint will warp a bit...but fiberglass wont melt ( at least i dont think it will)

if you get urethane you will have a prob with just about any exhaust that extends the tips especially the injen cause its angled

I was looking at getting the Top Secret Rear Mudguards. They're just a lil extension of the stock mudguards and hopefully it won't get melted by the exhaust. If you do find something that works well, please let me know as well Good luck to you

only one side of mine had an issue, and thats cause the tip touches the bumper. if yours dont touch should be fine. I need to adjust mine so it doesnt, just havent had a chance.

that black is soot, its common to any car without test pipes. its not actual burning.

I always thought it wiped off.

I had the same problem, the shop that does my work suggested longer exhaust hangers in the rear.
