I think I've seen about 10 or 12 OEM-Look Carbon Fiber hoods on the net. The price ranges are sooo wide! I've seen one for $300 and another for $800. I don't get it. Is $800 worth it or are the cheaper one's just the same? What would be a average price for a good quality OEM Carbon fiber hood?

 

some are nothing but fiberglass with carbon stuck on top. Others are all carbon, some are higher quality of carbon and gel coat. Some are better fitting than others.

 

yep, that basically sums it up.

 

most any hood thats in that price range is all carbon on fiberglass, good for looking like CF but not much else.

the price differences are in design, and fitment.

 

the least expensive with the best quality would be from fiber images...or those new seibon hoods...they are about 5 or 600

the ones from 200-500 are most likely all from the same manufacturer overseas and the quality isnt good (1st hand experience)
