I have a whole bunch of scratch's on my front stock 18s, particularily around the rim.
Jason, if I powdercoat them will the scratches still be visible?
and also, does anyone know where i could see a picture of white powdercoated rims on daytona?

I was going to do a blue to match the blue vinyl on my car to my rims... but still debaiting it now...
Jason,
Does the gloss black like on "Bens Z" require a clear (I would think so). What kind of defects can you fix on the wheel before powdering? You mention scratches - what about nicks? I can send a pic if you need to answer. It would have to be filled I think.
Thanks.

Here's a set on ebay if anyones interested. And $350-$450 is actually not that expensive to get a set powdercoated. I think chroming is about $400-500 so it's about the same price.

yes it does require clear...
it all depends on how deep the nick is... there is a limit to how much filler I feel comfortable putting on a wheel so it doesnt crack out after the wheel has been coated...

Does anyone have pix of a black Z with black powder coated rims. I am waiting on some of bats overlays for my taillights, backup lights and front sidemarkers. I am curious to see what a completely blacked out Z looks like, I think I like the idea. Just wanna see some pix before I think anymore about doing my rims black. Thanks for all the replies so far, much help!
