It has a hood latch yes... and comes with all the hardware necessary to do the install...

cant really warranty the hood.. if there is a problem with it when it gets to you as far as something that happens in shippment... that will be covered from our shipping insurance...

you can come by and pick it up... the price will be cheeper for pick up since you dont have to pay the $100 to ship it...

I dont know what the service department would want to charge to install it but we can work something out with them...

Some college student at my school has a black hood on his red Intergra. I walked up close to see if it was CF, nope, black. =/ I have been looking over CF hoods. I want a vented one though. ANd I love the idea of not having to paint it

On an aside, I used to hate the CF look. Now I think if properly done, it can look really nice. A CF hood that flows into a CF front bumper or just a CF front lip looks nice. A CF wing in the back would balance everything out. I really wish that INGS+! low mount CF wing wasn't so much money. The high mount wing is ugly on the Z imo though. They tend to be taller than the roof! :P

it's always better to use hood pins. i've seen alot of guys with 'ok' quality hoods with decent latches on them have their hoods fly off while they are going down the hwy. i'd rather just use the hood pins.

...and just as a member looking out for other members...i wouldn't purchase anything from importfan/gtp. Those guys don't warranty their stuff (or care) in any shape, way, or fashion. Bad customer service and inferior products. They will be cheap but you get what you pay for. I bought a hood from them once and it clouded after 8 months, didn't fit properly and they wouldn't even consider giving me what I paid for.

Personally I think VIS is ok but I think veilside hoods are better. Just my .02

Here is my OEM CF hood I got from Gruppe-S. Quality is pretty good except around the edges where you can see some white marks. The fitment is 100%.
