i broke my leman's orange hot wheels die cast toy a while back...
so when i was dreaming up front/rear fender designs for my next project..... i thought.. what the heck.. think in 3D..
so here are some images.. please, poke fun at my clay handling skills... its actually the blue sticky tack that you can use to put posters up on walls..
i will *try* to make this a reality.. all CF of course.... and yes.. inspiration from that awesome Endless Z... no not Mr.B's.. but the one racing JGTC..

COol!
Awesome Idea! I have the same model, but SuperBlack like my real Z. I am trying to mimic my Z on the model, but unfortunately the engine compartment is pretty hard to mod on those. Looks like you're off to a great start though!
P.S. I LOVE the Robotech models on the shelf in the background of some of your pictures! I just bought the Macross and Next Generation DVD boxed sets this morning! Robotech Masters sucked. Hehehe!

If you REALLY wanted to have fun with it buy a Tamiya 1/10 rc car model - the body comes as a clear plastic shell. Then you can apply your parts and spraypaint the whole thing to get a working model.
