Default quality question!!

Is a fiberglass body kit good? I found this full nismo (don't think its authentic) body kit deal for about 350 on ebay(he dealer seemed reliable), and I was thinking about getting it... the only thing though is that I don't know much about body kits, and so I wanted to make sure it sounded ok with you guys. Also, how much do you think it would cost to paint the front bumper (with the addition of a clear bra), two side skirts, 2 rear mud thingers, and a spoiler?

really depends on the kit. With Replica kits it's hit or miss.
Even authentic Fiber Glass parts may have slight imperfections.

If the kit is quality Fiber Glass it should look fine, Many kits are made from it. The real Nismo kit is fiber glass.

painting varies from shop to shop. Depends on how much prep work the fiberglass needs. If I remember correctly I was quoted around 750 to paint the kit when I was looking at getting the replica a few months back.

350 is cheap. I personally wouldnt buy a kit off of ebay, I'd like to see it before I spend the cash. or at least get recommendations
from members.

Check out mynismo.com (performance nissan) they have quality
NISMO replica kits that a few members here have and seem happy with it. I have seen their kit and it was good.

if your going to Clear bra the NISMO bumper it'll also cost more
cuz the lip needs a custom piece made for it.

Do a search on NISMO body kit and you should find a bunch of threads on the Fiber glass Replica's

Good Luck.

PS. One day NISMO will release the real kits here in the US.
I'd wait for it even though it's taking forever.
BTW: it wont be fiber Glass.
