Default Question on Wings West Kit

Hey, i was looking into the Wings West kit. Now is this kit an add-on.. so this should take a place about 2 hrs to put on.. so it leaves the stock stuff on? Also anyone have any cons against this kit?

The front and rear lip are simply add on's while the side skirts replace your existing one's. As far as paying for a shop to put it on dont waste your money. Just fit it yourself and install as directed. Spend the cash saved on painting the kit. I dont really see any pro's other than it is urethane and more durable than most other kits. The only con is that you will be laughed at for getting the kit. The majority on this site hates the kit due to how it looks. I for one like the kit and the looks, except for the carbon wing you can purchase seperatly. Most people "follow the leader" and or like to be "accepted" on this board, that is why you see so few to none of these kits being posted. If you like the kit the buy the kit, install the kit, and drive the hell out of the car with the kit. The only person that should care about the looks of your car is you!

For $899 painted, and shipped directly from wings west that sounds like a steller deal. I would first call up wings west and make sure this is in fact a true "deal", you never know with EBay anymore.

Also one thing to consider. If you order it pre painted and the color odesnt match and or you arent happy with it when it arrives you cant simply drop it off to have it reapinted/touched up. I would consider ordering a unpainted kit then taking it to a reputable place so that you know it will be done right the first time, and if not, you will have easy access to the facility to correct it.
