Default gas door

does anyone have there gas door kinda sticking out of place alittle? I had brought my car back to the dealership and the service and they had ordered me a new gas door and then installed it but yet it still pops out of place.. Can anyone tell me how to go about this?

They all do that. Basically, it is a poor design. If it is excessive, make sure that the cord to hold your cap on is tucked into the groove on the side, it should close a little better that way. Otherwise, we all just deal with it.

I'm able to get it to match up properly. I just put my first two fingers and thumb from each hand around the outer edges of the gas door and push it untill I fell it latch.

If I don't close it w/ light pressure all around the rim it does not seem to seat properly and sticks up a little.

Good timing on this thread, I filled up today over my lunch break and w/o thinking just closed the gas door and it looked funny (sticks up a little) so I used my normal method and it looks great.
