I have always liked the look of carbon fiber, but I am not sure how it would look on a Daytona Blue Z. In particular I was thinking about getting a carbon fiber hood (not sure which one yet) carbon fiber veilside V1 lip and maybe B-pillars. Anyone have any pics or opinions on how this would look? Thanks!

Hey failsafe, it is funny that you responded because it was your hood that made me think about it.

And Bat, that hood looks awesome with the gunmetal rims! I could have sworn someone said you painted your handles gunmetal as well. Is this true? If not, something to think about.

I was thinking about getting a CF hood and i have a DB too. I was thinking about something with the vents in it though, like what jason from performance nissan has on his silver Z. Like Bat i am planning on getting some dark wheels, most likely black, so I think it would look good.

 

Yeah, I originally wanted the silver LMGT4's but after seeing the gunmetal with the carbon fiber, I think it looks good. Especially with the handles.

Hey Bat, I would like to know how you did it as well.

 

I had a local shop do it. They did a great job, did all the prep and everything. No cracking or peeling of the paint either. If you have it done, make sure they do a thorough prep job!

morrocan mole youre car is so tight! mine will look similar in about 2 weeks once i put my ings+1 half kit on.. i might take my wing off and cf hood off as well.. go with all one color..
