Default am i the first one to do this?

well i replaced my bumper this morning due to a piece of wood hitting it on the way to ATCO. Thanks to mike (sirmike) at ATX motorsports in jersey i got his old bumper.

when my bumper was off i came up with an idea... should i paint my reflectors? i had the dupont spraypaint that i did my covers with, and the color is very close. so i sanded the reflectors, primed them, clear coat at the end, and i think they came out very good. heres some pics

opinions wanted please.

I had thought of doing something along these lines also, but more to the effect of buying the clear ones and smoking them out so they are clear, but not that bright white color (my car is black).

Then I realized these clear corner thingys are like 50 bux, and thats a $50 I'd rather put into the engine.

blue angles were here over the weekend at jones beach. sick show, i couldnt believe the things they were doing. One of the BA's did a 700+ mph fly by ( i think thats what the anouncer said) he was MOVING...anyway he flew by and you saw the shockwaves around the plane, then like 5 seconds after he passed you heard the roar of the engines and all you smelt was afterburners. it was insane.

So the bodykits that remove the reflectors altogether, are illegal also?

yes.

law states (I think 50state) you must have an amber reflector on the front side, and a red reflector on the rear side. every car has this if you check a parking lot sometime. many have it in the headlight, our amber strip is not reflective though.
