well.. since i'm waiting for the greddy rpm adapter to come.. i thought i'd just share some picts of my Defi V.S.D. Headsup Display and boost gauge-
i got them from Adam at Z1 (awesome!) originally i wanted to monitor oil temp, fuel pressure, speed and rpm with the HUD, but for now i just use it for Speed or oil temp. the RPM signal off the primary ignition coil doesnt work...
well here are the picts: (car is dirty.. but u get the idea... )

Cheston,
I'm aiming for a similar setup, but using the defi link display right in front of the stock tach. Wondering why the control module could not work with the rpm signal from one coil. Since my shift light is covered up by the display, I was aiming to use it as my tach warning and thought that it would work on our Z since the control unit has a selector for the number of cylinders, therefore I thought it had the capability to work of the RPM signal of one coil only. Although I have had the parts for a while, have not had the time to try it, assuming you tried all the switches and it didn't work on our Z. please update once you have installed the greddy rpm signal adapter, interested to see that working.
