I like the wing a lot. Reminds me of a 911 Turbo. If you're looking for a nice noticeable color, I suggest something like techno violet, or a candy apple red, maybe a gunmetal with blue and green pearl...

Don't know about the silver Wald car but I will be driving mine. I am not putting this much money into my car just to let it sit in the garage. I feel the same as you. Drive the damn things that is what they are for!!

 

The Silver Wald 350 is on bags. This is something I am NOT doing.

 

i like the wing..as fo the color, the crazier the car is the better it will be with a dark or non-showey color

dark blue is cool...howbout a really metallic white..yellow is too overdone

You should paint it a nice deep glossy pearl white. i havent seen any show Zs with this color and it looks great.

Think pikes peak white but deeper and creamier.

Well Nissan is coming out with yellow for '05 so you probably want to avoid that. Orange is close to LS.
Silver is boring.
Lime green, uhhhh, no comment
There was a program called sswheel that allowed you to play with colors on a Z but I can't find it for download anymore. I can upload it somewhere but it's ~40MB.

Is that true? I looked on the Nissan site and couldn't find anything about it. If that is the case I may reconsider from Redline to Yellow.

 

Ok some new pictures of the inner back fenders. For people that don't know the back fenders of the 350 have 2 parts to them, the inner fender and the outer fender. The inner is the wheel well and the outer is the nice part you see. This is before the welds were grinded smooth and the metal was grinded clean.

 

Looks like the fenders are coming along nicely!

That Wald Wing, however is FUGLY!! I realize that since they are your sponsor you have to put it on... but man, that is just hideously ugly. Looks like it belongs on an Evo or WRX or something. Definitely NOT a Z.

The Wald Sideskirts and Rear Valance are BADA$$ looking though!! Do you have any pictures of the front? I am curious to see what that looks like

Yea the wing will be on until the sponsorship is over. After that it will be taken off. And the car will be painted black again.

Thanks for the pic. Hmmmmm... I still like the sides and rear valance, but the front is a bit plain, and the wing is a bit over the top. Hehehehe!!

That wing might look a tad bit narrow with the widebody. It already looks a little narrow on the stock width. But then again it might look better on the widebody..

just gotta wait and see.

I'm way jealous of your widebody... but I'm doing this Wald kit w/o the wing since it's nasty... gonna keep the wing simple... maybe a Stillen type 1 wing. Anyhow, I'm so bagging my ride. I want it to hit the ground when I get out and set the alarm. I want the remote to let the air out. I'll put up picks when it gets done. It won't be til the end of summer.
