for guys that are doing Wide body kits, are you getting super low offsets for you wheels and using spacers or are you using normal offsets?? (if you are using normal offsets the wheels will be sucked in like 6" and totally negate the effect of a wide body car, but I wonder if you run very low offsets if it will effect the suspension geometry in a negative way?? anyone know??)

That all depends, my wheels were specially made for this application. Wald Japan made the wheels fit with the right offset. I need no spacers and the wheel hub is, for the most part, in the center so the suspension geometry is not affected in any way. I have just as much tire on the inside of the hub as I do on the outside of the hub. When your going this wide I would suggest contacting a wheel company like Wald, Iforged, or HRE and have a wheel made to fit your car. Don’t forget if your going with Big Brakes you need to tell the wheel company so they can make the wheel fit over the brake calipers and rotors.

I will have to look again at my wheels offset. I know I have a negative offset but I can’t remember how much. As soon as I get it I will let you know.

If you have any questions about them you can pm Mr. B. I hope he doesn't mind because thats the only one that can really help with the J-lines.
Or Danny at www.sixautoworks.com and go to contacts and shoot him a email.

There is still a lot of grinding and smoothing that needs to be done. They should be starting on the front next week.

It looks like they welded your fuel door closed? Are they going to reroute the location elsewhere?

Ok, I got more pictures for you guys.

I want to thank Stoptech's Jeff Ritter for getting the StopTech big brakes to me as quickly as he did. This is a very professional company and Jeff could not have been more helpful.

Let me tell you guys the brakes are incredible! By far one of the best upgrades I have ever made!! I can't wait to get the car on the road to see just how great they are.

Thats the catfish car. Sorry, not a big fan of that body kit. I thought about putting vent but I think I want the car to be as clean as it can be. Vent brake up the lines to much.

On the color issue..I was thinking maybe a custom color, like a deep maroon...a little redder than brickyard, made to look like an exotic woodgrain finish? you know like with black swirls? you could easily get a woodgrain interior to match too... like a deep cherry woodgrain. i saw something similar on a crx...was that deep red color and the shadows made it look like it was woodgrain...looked sweet! And different!

Hmmm.. I'm not feeling it. Maybe if you posted a picture I could get a better idea. Thanks for the help.
