does anyone's rear view mirror start rattling when they drive? sometimes when i drive my rear view mirror starts rattling and i dont know how to stop it... i tryed lookin for some screws on it so maybe i can tighten them but there were no screw's... any suggestions to help me stop the rattling would be appreciated... thanks fellas....

 

Mine rattles sometime. When it does I put my hand on it and squeeze the top and bottom and it stops. The dashboard rattle is the one driving me crazy.

 

+1... i have both these rattles as well.. the dash board is the one that kills me though.

yea the dash is KILLING ME!!! passengers side right? by the pillar?

 

you know i had that same problem, but after i realized it was my sunglasses that was doing the rattling it never made that sound again, unless i stored my glasses in there. But with the other sound, it's coming from the drivers side air vent. I can actually replicate the sound by knocking on it... don't know what it is tho!

my rear view mirror has never rattled before though.

 

funny you mention the rear view mirror cuz just 4 days ago it snapped right off from the vibration. my to VR comps just snapped it right off... i'm hoping to get warranty and that piece of junk.

 

mine rattled took it in to the dealer and got a brand new one installed no ?'s asked.

 

that just happened to me today! and my new sub (10w7) goes in on monday.....i hope this problem doesn't keep happening. i hope the dealership will cover it under warranty....they really better. just another thing to add to the list for my tranny replacement appointment on thursday when they also have to fix the seat and the grease streaks and front dash rattle. oh well.

 

my rattles turned out to be the sunglasses in the sunglass holder and the tape in the tape deck!(someone put a tape in the tape deck lol)
