blacked out headlight pics
i saw that theres a company that makes blacked out headlights for us but they are like 800 bucks...too much to spend on headlights i think...just wondering if anyone has painted the inside black themself? also im not talking abou tinting the outside of them, im talkin about making all the chrome inside of the headlights black...thanks

quite a few. its not tough, theres a thread in the DIY forum under the resource button up top. itll tell you how to open the housing and some good procedures for painting it as well.
give yourself a day or 2 for it though, dont rush it. their 700$ EACH, so you dont wanna screw up.

its not that hard to open the headlight up. i did it a second time and it was actually pretty easy. make sure you nicely seal it up and if you are gonna do the black housing, be sure to get the right type of paint and not to paint the reflector section for the actual headlight beam, otherwise the light pattern will be messed up.

dude, i've been planning on doing this since i bought my car, i have the paint and everything ready, i just have never had the time.
I think i'm going to do it this weekend. It's not hard at all (done it three times in two different cars already).
