I want to buy one of the Courtesy Nissan emblems for the front of my Z. It sez "Professional installation is recommended" I took a look and can get my hand behind the front of the emblem, but don't feel any sign of backing or screws from under the hood. How are you guys removing the emblem? Do I really need a professional to do this ? Is there a "how to" write up anywhere?

 

If you search hard you could find instructions in posts. It is only held on my adhesive and there are 2 posts on the bumper that help center the emblem. The best way to get it off is to heat up the emblem and then go at it with some strong fishing line until you break up all the adhesive then you will have to clean up the old adhesive and apply the new emblem. I just did this a week ago, so let me know if you have any other questions.

 

can u go to tinted shop and they can do it w/ a heat gun

or use a hair dryer at home


otherwise wait for a hot summer day then u can take it off
