Default Redline Pearl

Is it even possible? Every red car i've seen it's a flat red, I have never seen Red pearl. Everytime i see the other Z paints (silverstone and especially white) i look at the pearly paint and it looks sooooo nice...

The beauty of red comes from the color itself not added accents like pearl or flake. Pearl and flake are for colors that need help. Superblack and redline stand in all their glory on their own.

Go ahead and flame. Red Z Envy!

Technically, red can have pearl added to it. Unfortunately, it will dramatically change the way the color shines. My guess it would make the car look dirty or darken the red. Pearl is just an additional stage of paint process. Prime > Base > Pearl > Top Coat/Clear Coat

I agree. While the pearls look pretty cool at night, in daytime at some angles they look dirty or too dark. Maybe they got too much pearl in them. I really opted to get Redline over DB after seeing both in person because of this reason. I think a flat blue would have been nice.

...oh yea and don't get me wrong. I think the Pearl in the PPW and Silverstone / Chrome Silver look awesome (especially PPW)!
But I think the blue coulda been better without it.
