I tried to click on their website, but it won't let me.

Are they out of business, Importhookup.com?

Here's his last post dated June 16th: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....559#post897559

You should probably PM him for futher info regarding their site. It seems that everything was erased becuase there were hundreds of posts in their Lighting Forum, but now there are none.

I moved all their sales post regarding HID kits because they got a letter from NHTSA.

Their store page you linked to focused on selling those HID kits. That's why they removed it.

Their main page still works and they are absolutely still in business. They are still a sponsor of our forums.

Sad to see this happen cause I know they were selling well. I actually bought 2 of the kits cause I was so impressed with the quality coming out of Taiwan for such great price. I was about to purchase 2 more kits until they pulled it.

NHTSA stands for National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. NHTSA is responsible for reducing deaths, injuries and economic losses resulting from motor vehicle crashes.

Apparently ricers were retrofitting HID kits into improper headlight housings causing oncoming traffic to be blinded. So by banning the sale of aftermarket HID kits, the number of accidents can be reduced.

The 2 kits I got, I made sure to aim my headlights properly to avoid blinding people.

There will always be ways to get them though.
