Does G35 HID bulbs & ballast work (fit) on the 350z??? Does anyone know? Are they the same? Is it a plug-and-play deal? If yes, how much is one willing to pay for it?

I don't know how much it's worth and the going price for a complete set of these. Guess just know for a fact that if you have a base or enthusiast 350Z and your's don't have HID's, this set is a direct plug-and-play proposition. $700???

if you have a base model Z, buying the ballasts is a far cry from attaining an HID setup. you'll need to do quite a bit of wiring to provide sufficient current to the HID system as it draws more (at start up) than the halogen headlamps.

those ballasts are only good for Z owners who want an extra spare set or are in need of new ballasts. however, ballasts do not fail easily.. so.. i cant imagine many people wanting those. i would imagine them being worth 50-150/pair.

I know this thread is old but.... is old_s13 right about not being able to put the ballasts directly into a base model without a good amount of wiring? This doesnt make any sense. Isn't it just 12V?

I've known people that put in OEM setups without much or any hassle. Try asking Jun on the board, he has an OEM setup and it was virtually plug-and-play for him

Then there was Z-INCOGNITO on this board that had to do some wiring manipulation to put his in... I'm about to find out in a couple of days myself

Yobri, yours should be getting there by Tuesday according to UPS.

I just did an install on a friend's car about an hour ago (username: Trix). PM him if you want to know how easy the installation went.
