i say you should tint it. at least here in FL the heat is killer and the tinting really does work to keep some heat out (more while actually driving than when the car is just sitting though).

what % you should tint depends on how dark you want it. I have 15% charcoal on the driver and passenger window and 5% on the small windows on the sides and the hatch window. I think it looks great this way. I might just had a light (35%) tint to the front window. I've seen this on a few cars lately and it looks awesome (though it'll attract cops a lot faster).

Personally, I feel sports cars should not be excessively tinted. This is my personal opinion, but rarely do you see a Porsche, Ferrari, or Lambo with darkly tinted windows. It disturbs the line of the car. However, I do like a very light tint...almost unoticable in direct sunlight...just a slight shade. I have 54% tint all around. People can still see inside the car, but it offers a bit of heat protection while driving. Given that my car is black, if I went any darker, it would look like I have painted windows! Even with 54%...at night...it looks kinda on the dark side. Daytime is perfect though.

5% all the way around. I'd say go for it. Helps you keep cool and gives some privacy. The % is up to your personel preference on visibilty/shade/privacy. I love the privacy and the shade of mine, though driving at night is harder than I'd like. Perfect for day.

Definitely tint! It makes such a huge differance on the appearance of the car. And it reduces UV rays inside the car, therefore protecting it somewhat. And I believe it keeps oyur car cooler too.

I wasn't supposed to go really dark on my dad's Z but it turned out really nice with dark tint.

you should tint!

heres a pic of my ss with "cool chrome" tint. i got 50% on the sides and 30% on the rear window. i think the "cool chrome" tint matches the silverstones very nicely.

Tint it definately, it will keep it cooler inside and people can't see in as easily.

I tend to agree, I think too dark doesn't look as good IMHO. I think I am going to do about what MGL did, 50% sides with a very slight mirror (Titanium as some companies call it) tint. The mirror effect seems to make the tint NOT look as dark too.

i have decided to tint the car.
but don't know what to go with.
the black film makes the car look sexy and small.
the quantum (reflecting) tint makes the car look very cold.hmm...can't really explain it, but a different look.

Not the best angle to show the effect, but this is Bekaert HP "True Grey" at 38 percent sides, it's also on the rear at 38%.
No night vision issues.

28% Quantum titanium all around. I absolutely love this tint. You can see through it at certain angles.

(The Strut tower is very visible from the back.)
