Default front grill questions

For those of you who have modded their front girlls, do you have to remove the front bumper and take out the stock ones? Or does it just goes over the stock grills?

Depends on what grill you get. I have the Street Scene mesh grill and it doesn't require you to remove the stock grill, although you could if you wanted to.

Default Most fit over stock......

Here's mine. actually I've done twice. 2nd is 3/8 in. brite trim strips. I think it looks good. First is a "billit" knock-off. You get what you pay for. I'm either going for the real deal, about $240. to $260. or I'll go back to the strips. If they fall off. Just a few buck to replace.

Those are trim strips. Approx. $6.00 to $15.00 They look good and are inexpensively replacable, if one falls off or they get ratty.

did you guys have to cut the stock(black) grill out or does it come off? cause i'm going to put the vortech in next monday and i wanted the intercooler to show, but if it doesn't look right i want to be able to put the stock grill back in. also, do you guys think i should leave the grill out and just let the intercooler show?

When I installed mine I didn't take much notice but ,If I remember correctly, I believe the stock grill might be molded in. Not positive though.
