to be honest... the hoods we have sold for the lesser than $500 dollar croud the customers have not been happy...

Im not selling them any more...

But, the good hoods are $650 shipped...

I have a hood that has a slight crack by the hood pin that I can sell for $400 shipped... it was one of the $650 shipped hoods, but since there is the slight crack by the hood pins in this pic, we got the customer a new hood...

two questions.
1) are hoodpins required on a c/f hood
2) will that crack spread or become larger over time?

thanks

hood pins are not required, but highly recomended...

the cracks should not spread any more then they are now...

can't u just take the pins off and put one of those round disk type pin sets on to cover up the cracks? I saw them in the store and the disks r huge.

C/F is one of those things you don't want to try and skimp on because you really do get what you pay for...
