350Z with LED ground spot lights
#2
That's too much IMO, but just the side panels would look good if they were brighter white lights. BMW has used "puddle lights" under the door handles of the BMW 7 series since 2000. It turns on when you unlock the doors so you can see the ground around your car at night. That's the only reason I would want it for my Z. Any idea on how much something like this would cost?

Anyone know where to get those wheels/price?

Some might argue a bit rice-ish, but hey I like it...LEDs usually dull out over time and/or burn out...Any idea the life expectancy on an outdoor LED?...Also, pricing?...I think that car looks great IMO...Make yourself known on the highway at night, increase visibility on those horribly lit freeways...Alright, that was my 2 cents...Respond soon please.

what do you mean by increase visibility? for the driver, you can't see the lights while driving, so increase there. If you are referring to people other than the driver, since the lights are pointing down, they are pretty useless IMO.
It's just for the looks, you wouldn't buy them for the purpose of being functional, because they are not.

Unless the LEDs are in direct view of the sun, the limiting factor for life is the current going through them.
Personally, I think it looks nice... an interesting effect having what amounts to miniature spotlights.
