I removed the HIDs from my previous maxima before it was sold and decided to keep the HID stuff for the Z. Last night I successfully wired everything up and they fired right up. I did not wire a grey wire that has a female connector on it... it was attached to a small metal strip in the 2k2 maxima housing. I am assuming that was acting as a ground. Should I wire this somewhere on the Z? If so, please tell me a good location.
It appears the aftermarket kits do not have this. The only trouble i had with the installation was the passenger side bulb had a little play in it after I rebent the retaining wire. Thanks for any info!

 

if you had it grounded before you need to ground then. Any metal part of the car will do.
